Importance of Sunday's results in the election

The first subject of the great debate was to discuss the results of the election on Sunday. "It seems that we have one advantage in the second round. This is a political fact. But my call was to be united and prevail in the first round, because the entire country is at the stake," said Fico, who added that he receives the win "with humility."

After the issue was discussed was raised, the prospect of winning in the first round was aired in which the presidential candidate of Team for Colombia pointed out: "The numbers speak for themselves. The coalition we formed was just three months old, and was the smallest. We're only a few seconds away, one million votes from the Historic Pact. It's very clear who we really are and who we can face in the second round of elections against authoritarian and populist projects like Petro.

Petro: The toughest questions

Federico Gutierrez asked Gustavo Petro about Piedad Cordoba's inclusion on his lists. "How will they claim that you aren't accepting those who are corrupt in the lists when Piedad Cordoba was in the list, when he was negotiating for the lives of many kidnapped people, and then when he became a member of the Chavez regime, which poses an omen for Colombia?" Fico expressed his support for Ingrid Betancourt who accused Cordoba "trading as kidnapping".

Gutierrez then criticized Petro and called him "friend of FARC".

"Those who attack others as well as those who kidnapped, took money, and then murdered are the masters and owners of war. In my life, I have used an instrument that was not from yours. I have the moral right to speak of peace . I will make sure the FARC along with allies and close friends respect the agreements. They have not met the peace agreement.

Zuluaga is spotted on the Gutierrez campaign

Gutierrez then discussed Oscar Ivan Zuluaga arriving to his campaign. I told him to I thank you for your personal endorsement and that I'll meet with him. But I'm going to speak to many other sectors that would like to be part of our campaign." Gutierrez made clear that he was not Uribe's nominee, but would accept support.

He said that "Those of us who fight for democracy must stand together." I will have a meeting with teachers. Alongside the cooperative, we'll present a national agenda to the entire nation and show that we have more we can do.

Gutierrez, right in the middle, reproached Ingrid Betancourt who said that Ingrid Betancourt was saying that only one is good and that everybody else is corrupt.

She said, "You don’t have have to tell us that I have poor intentions," and she added, "Is there really any one good in Central America?" If I am elected president, and I will be the next president, I will be united. I don't know whether they're right-leaning or left-leaning however, I'll be governing with the very best.

Ingrid claimed that he was being supported by "machineries such as Los Char" and Dilian Francisca Toro. Ingrid reacted. "I am a person with character. He added, "I will make many alliances, but I have the character to not allow violence or corruption."

'Petro is playing dumb'

Federico Gutierrez made a new argument regarding Gustavo Petro. He stated that he was accompanied by Armando Benedetto, a former senator and is part of the process of ending dominion. In the event that he didn't receive a reply, he stated that the candidate for the Historic Pact "always plays stupid."

What are the ideas of health-related candidates?

The former Medellin mayor presented his vision of a country's health system "Ideology must not be the rule. There must be respect and dignity for our health services.  https://forbes.co/2021/11/25/precandidatos-presidenciales/es-increible-ver-el-obstaculo-que-le-han-puesto-a-hidroituango-de-manera-irresponsable/ 'll end the wait times, increase health and prevention, and articulation between IPS and EPS and introduce the Siga system. This model uses triage to determine where you'll be treated according the disease.

He said it's essential to provide better conditions to health personnel and "that they have guarantees of linking" and clarified that he is not going to end EPS, but will strengthen the system to provide health care. He said, however, that any EPS that does not work will be eliminated.

Relations with the United States

To the question: Would you reconsider your relationship with the United States? Gutierrez replied, "I'm going maintain a solid, bipartisan relationship with the United States. However, there are certain aspects that require to be reconsidered. We will be strengthening the system of production that is available, so that the relationship can not only be business-related, but also political.

"The issue with the U.S. today is UU. It is a necessity for us to recognize that the world has changed and the U.S. is now able to produce more food, but can also bring high-quality products from other countries.

Gutierrez used the occasion to launch another bid at Petro: "The Blockades, that is, the blockades.  https://www.elespectador.com/politica/elecciones-colombia-2022/oscar-ivan-zuluaga-adhiere-a-fico-gutierrez-para-unir-a-la-derecha-contra-petro/  directed you to shut down the roads," Gutierrez said. The people are wondering what the reason is for why chicken and egg are so expensive because you shut down the road," he said.

Gutierrez repeatedly insisted that Petro "is planning to expropriate" and pointed out that under his administration the government will provide loans at a low cost provided to peasants, the irrigation districts will be strengthened, and the rights of landownership will be protected.

Questions from applicants to candidates

It was the responsibility of Federico Gutierrez to answer his position before the Uribe and Duque government: "I am clear that starting on August 7, anything that works, independent of the government, I will carry on it. And if it doesn't work, I will improve it," he said.

He added that security was essential but also integral, and the security would be a part of the social. Three helicopters will arrive with social investment if the military is required to enter a conflict zone.

Gutierrez wrote a critique about Petro. He said that Petro offered them the current assistance via Families in Action. Take a look at Venezuela and you'll see the Chavez model.

Pension debate

Gutierrez suggested, in order to strengthen the pension problem, "to take the state's capabilities to the territorial bodies to help strengthen that money in fixed assets like roads and schools. He also stated that there were 20 million dollars worth of mafia-related assets that can be managed by the government.

He also stated that's why we'll have more domain lawyers and judges who will be able to halt the extinction process. This money can then be used to help fund education, health, or the pension system that covers the three million people who have a retired pension. He added that the resources were there but you need to know where they are.

Meetings with Pope Francis during the campaign?

The discussion focused on the visit of candidates Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Gutierrez to Pope Francis.  Fico Gutierrez     emphasized this in his remarks that "those who will visit the Pope will be there because they don't know the pope." He is a person I know however, I am having an appointment today with the Colombians.  https://federicogutierrez.com/  was present in Medellin during the papal visit.

Relations with Venezuela

The last topic of discussion was the relationship between Venezuela and its neighbors.  https://www.elheraldo.co/politica/oscar-ivan-zuluaga-desde-el-uribismo-celebran-su-adhesion-fico-gutierrez-894480  stated that Maduro's relationship to Colombia was through the FARC and the Eln dissidents, dissidents as well as Piedad, Petro. Maduro cannot be considered to be a government because it is a dictatorship. But there is a real-world situation at the border."

He explained that vehicular traffic must not be prohibited because of the problem of trade that is happening as a result of criminal groups keeping an unregulated economy. Maduro is not recognized by the government. Business decisions have to be taken near or at the border.

Gutierrez, in an argument over the issue, had an argument with Petro. He remarked that he is unable to defend "his allies" Russia, Syria, Venezuela, etc.

He also decried the idea of dissociating Colombia from coal and oil. He said that it is not something that should be done in a single step. "That's why we are working on renewable energy projects, like solar and wind. We are working towards this goal and are looking to increase our capacity by a third.

Gutierrez offered a farewell message: "Petro. "I will become the president of Colombians." Colombians."
